one step closer....mmmmaybe

well, we've got potential lookers. we're one of three contenders and we're the cheapest and have the bigger yard..so hopefully we'll be sold off the unsane real estate market, only then to enter back into it in a different area, different but similar.
the longer it takes the scarier it gets, i realize i havent revealed the bigger picture on my blog, other than we're planning on moving and i'll be helping run a tattoo shop. its just there are things, abilities, that i have that i never toyed with in the vein of venture that i'm to endeavor upon. i guess in time i will be solidified in esteem to share with all the things that i will do.
sunday we went to cottonwood, saw the new shop and looked at a dozen or so potential dwellings. it's nuts. the shop is ginormous, it has like 10 rooms plus a big area for clothing, a piercing room, and a coffee area with a set of it's own doors to the outside. its pretty bad arce, everything is like a khaki tan with black trim, pretty sfelt..oh and nice wooden floors.
as far as the houses we looked at, well, it's nothing like the house we live in now, which is really nice, and big.. but, then again we live in the middle of nowhere and have to travel like 50 miles one way to get to places of employ, so this move will bring us closer to where we need to be, in turn saving like 3k in gas a yr along with affluent maintenance charges for things like oil, tires, brakes..etc..etc..

im scared... but... without bold moves comes atrophy..oh..and we have a baby on the way..so lets heep on the fear...

I'm sorry you are stressed out, but I hope you are also excited!

So get this, I think I told you my mother passed away in February. My Dad passed away about 6 years ago. My mother left their house to me and my brother and sister (as well as the rest of her estate to be divided equally). The three of us decided back in February that we didn't want to sell the house right away. It's the only tie we have left to our parents. Since I already lived in the neighborhood and I'm the only one with kids, we all three decided that I would live in the house, at least for a couple of years until the kids have finished school. The executor of the estate agreed to that and I moved in in April.

Now the executor is saying that we have to sell the house. After she agreed to everything and after I already moved in. We are all sick with anxiety about it. None of us wants to lose the house and I definitely don't want to move again, probably to a smaller house that is not nearly as nice as this one. Plus, we have all of the things that our parents accumulated over 40 some years to go through. We don't want to end up just willy-nilly throwing things away. We were planning on taking the next couple of years to go through their stuff.

GAH!!! She's such a BITCH. But then she's a lawyer. I think when you take the bar exam, they also take that opportunity to remove your heart.

matt, are you going to be tattooing me sometime in the next few years?

The problem is she has control over my brother's portion of the estate because my mom put it in a trust for him with her as the person who has control over it.
